Clare specializes in alternative strategies for professional training and enhanced artistic performance. Her innovative work integrating holistic principals to the demands of classical ballet, ‘holistic ballet’® integrates the focus & energy work of the eastern martial arts, supported by the latest sports science research on ‘attentional focus’ of Gabriele Wulf Phd, to manage performer power, precision and energy for enhanced performance. She delivers this work for the dancers, artistic staff, ballet masters, trainers, and healthcare teams of The Royal Ballet, Houston Ballet, Finnish National Opera Ballet, Ballet de L’Opèra du Rhin, Opèra de Paris-Opèra Université and the Professional Dancer’s Postgraduate in Teaching RAD, Berlin Staatsballett.

Her teaching method 'dancing longevity’®, an adapted dance practice for Older Adults is recognized as a DU (University Diploma) of the University Côte d'Azur, France, a study integrating for the first time dance teachers, PTs, physiotherapists and therapists. The method, as seen in her repertoire-inspired, 'Tanz Senioren' projects for Konzert Theater Bern, is certified as Continuing Education by l’Ecole Superieure de Danse, Cannes et Marseille and certified international CPD for The Royal Academy of Dance. Advisor to RESEO - The European Network for Opera, Music & Dance Education and Co-founder of the European Dance & Creative Wellness’ Foundation, Clare aims to bring awareness to the immense wellness benefits of dance and its potential role in innovative preventative health.

Trained originally as a classical & contemporary dancer and musician, Clare began her career choreographing with American composer Philip Glass and became resident choreographer and staff director at English National Opera specialising in contemporary works. She went on to direct and choreograph productions for such companies as The Royal Opera House, San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera Chicago, Dutch National Opera, BBC Proms, Opèra de Paris and received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for outstanding achievement in opera.

Following professional dance injury, her work deepened to include holistic health. She published her own remedial movement method - ‘The Energy Source’ – simple daily exercise for mind & body vitality - developed in rehearsal at the Royal Opera House, English National Opera and Opèra de Paris. From her own clinic practice, Clare went on to specialize in wellness business development to become Holistic Operations Advisor & then Managing Director Europe, Middle East & Africa to Six Senses Spas.
